1. Who we are
Forge College is operated by ARM WEB3 LTDA, registered under CNPJ no. 48.812.900/0001-60, headquartered at Av. Professor José Inácio de Souza, 1186, Sala 06, Bairro Brasil, Uberlândia, MG, 38400-732, Brazil. Contact: contact@forge.college.
2. What Forge is
Forge is an education platform for technology, such as artificial intelligence, Web3 and blockchain. Content is organized into programs, tracks and lessons (video, summary, podcast, text, code and infographics), with exercises, an artificial intelligence tutor (Sparky), a ranking, achievements and certificates of completion.
3. Your account
- To use the platform, you need to create an account with true information and keep it up to date.
- Your account is personal: do not share your access. You are responsible for what happens in it; if you notice any misuse, let us know at contact@forge.college.
- You must be 18 or over, or 16 or over with the authorization of your parents or guardians.
- You can close your account at any time, through the platform or by asking at contact@forge.college.
4. Free of charge
Today all Forge content is free and there is no paid plan. If we ever offer something paid, it will be optional, have its own terms and we will let you know in advance.
5. Acceptable use
You can use Forge to learn, practice and share what you achieved. You may not:
- create multiple accounts, use fake accounts or impersonate someone else;
- use bots, scripts or any automation to complete lessons, earn XP or coins or tamper with the ranking;
- copy, bulk-download, resell or redistribute Forge content;
- try to access areas, data or accounts without authorization, or disrupt the platform;
- use Sparky to generate content that is illegal, offensive or infringes the rights of others;
- post content on your profile that is illegal, discriminatory, offensive or infringes the rights of others.
If that happens, we may remove points and achievements obtained irregularly and suspend or close the account, without prejudice to other legal measures.
6. XP, coins, ranking and rewards
- XP, coins, levels, streaks and achievements measure your progress on Forge. They have no monetary value and cannot be sold, traded, transferred or converted into money.
- We may adjust the scoring and ranking rules to keep the competition fair, and correct points awarded by mistake or fraud.
- Rewards offered by sponsors, such as scholarships, grants and cash prizes, follow the rules of each campaign, which state who can take part, the criteria and the deadlines. In case of conflict, the campaign rules prevail.
7. Certificates
When you finish a program, you receive a Forge certificate of completion. It shows that you completed the content on the platform, but it is not a degree recognized by the Brazilian Ministry of Education (MEC).
Partner certifications are issued by the partners themselves, under their own rules and exams. Forge prepares you for them, but does not guarantee passing, employment or hiring.
8. Sparky, the AI tutor
Sparky’s answers are generated automatically by artificial intelligence and may contain mistakes, inaccuracies or outdated information. Use them to support your studies and double-check what matters, especially before using code in production.
Sparky does not replace professional advice, whether legal, financial, investment or otherwise. Do not send sensitive personal data in your questions.
9. Intellectual property
Forge’s videos, texts, podcasts, exercises, images, trademarks, Sparky and software belong to Forge or to those who licensed them to us, and are protected by law. We grant you a personal, free, non-exclusive and non-transferable license to access and study the content for non-commercial purposes.
The code examples in the lessons can be used in your own projects, including commercial ones, unless the lesson says otherwise.
What you create (your code, your answers, your profile) remains yours. You authorize us to store and display that content only to operate Forge, for example to show your profile and achievements.
10. Third-party links and services
Forge may link to third-party sites, tools and services, such as social networks, documentation and partner platforms. They have their own terms and policies, and we are not responsible for their content or practices.
11. Availability and changes to the platform
We work to keep Forge always available, but it may be unavailable due to maintenance, failures or reasons beyond our control. We may create, change or remove content and features to improve the platform.
12. Liability
Forge is offered free of charge and as is. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages, loss of profits or data loss caused by third parties, nor for decisions made based on the content or on Sparky’s answers.
Nothing in these terms limits the rights you may have as a consumer under the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code.
13. Suspension and termination
You can stop using Forge and close your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms or the law; whenever possible, we will let you know in advance and explain why.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the version in force. Relevant changes will be announced through the platform or by e-mail before they take effect; if you keep using Forge after that, the new terms apply.
15. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of Brazil. Any dispute will be settled in the courts of your place of residence.
